Petar Petrović's prints with motifs of vineyard cottages in Podravina reveal strong connection to the homeland and heritage that is endangered to decay and disappearance due to time lapse. Capturing these motifs he carefully keeps his memories and recollections from oblivion and tries to preserve the impression of today's condition of traditional architecture that remains permanently registered in the ink strokes on a paper. He creates narrative scenes full of details and symbols that are interesting to art historians, ethnologists and anthropologists as a valuable source of knowledge about past times. Vineyard cottage as a general place of gathering, merriment and socializing will be presented at several exhibit-points throughout Podravina. Đurđevac as the birthplace of the author will be the starting point (June 5th), while the finals will follow in Hlebine (July 3rd-4th). Several exhibit-points in Koprivnica include occasional presentations on June 12th, June 18th and June 23rd. During the event Podravski motivi exhibiton will be presented at the City Pavilion in the City Park (June 19th – 20th). During the Wine Fest exhibition will be presented at the atrium of the Koprivnica Youth Center (June 26th) as a part of the EU reVITAlize project.
The program was implemented with European Union funds within the project "Wine folklore as a historical identity of Podravina and Pomurje" (reVITAlize) within the INTERREG V-A cross-border cooperation program Hungary-Croatia 2014-2020.
