The exhibition “Išel budem v kleticu” opens

Visit the opening of the exhibition “Išel budem v kleticu” as part of the EU project Wine folklore as a historical identity of Podravina and Pomurje (reVITAlize) on 25 June 2021 (Friday) from 7 pm in the Koprivnica Gallery (Zrinski trg 9). The exhibition will present the traditional architecture of Podravina – vineyard houses owned by famous residents of Koprivnica’s town center where these people went to enjoy nature, viticulture, winemaking, and to grow fruit and produce various (alcoholic) beverages. The vineyard houses’ plans date back to the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. They were built in such parts of Koprivnica as Močile and Vinica, or in suburban settlements such as Starigrad. The plans we present are kept in the Collection of Architecture and Urbanism. There are a little more than 1,300 items which arrived at the Koprivnica Town Museum as the most important legacy of the Koprivnica’s family Reš dating back to the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century.

The program was implemented with European Union funds within the project "Wine folklore as a historical identity of Podravina and Pomurje" (reVITAlize) within the INTERREG V-A cross-border cooperation program Hungary-Croatia 2014-2020.
